Credit Union membership begins when you open a Savings or "Share" Account. Your Savings Account is called a "Share" Account because you are a "Shareholder" in the credit union.  To open a Savings or a "Share" Account, a five dollar ($5) minimum balance is required.  That’s it! You are now an owner of your financial institution – how cool is that?

Member Account Agreement
Complete this form to join NorthStar Credit Union and open your new accounts.
Account Closing Notice
Notify your old financial institution of the accounts you are closing and tell them where to send any remaining funds.
Change in Account for Automatic Payments
Send this letter to transfer any automatic payments from your old accounts to your new NorthStar Credit Union accounts.
Automatic Payment Cancellation
Use this letter to cancel any automatic payments from your old account.
Direct Deposit Application
Sign up for first-time direct deposit of your payroll or other regular payments into your NorthStar Credit Union checking account.
Automatic Monthly Transfer Request
Request funds to be transferred regularly between your NorthStar Credit Union accounts.
